Our Mission
Protecting the Children of Lubbock County
Across the United States, April is recognized as National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Last year, there were 690 confirmed cases of child abuse in Lubbock County. The mission of the Community Partners of Lubbock is to support and stock the Rainbow Room, an emergency resource room for CPS caseworkers and investigators.
The Rainbow Room provides children and their families with necessary supplies in times of personal crisis. 100% of your donation goes to support the Rainbow Room and its operation.

The pinwheel has become the national symbol for child abuse prevention. Its bright colors and carefree spinning represent the joyful, healthy childhoods we want for every child. Each pinwheel placed on display represents a confirmed case of child abuse in Lubbock County, serving as a powerful visual reminder of the children in our community who need our protection and support.
